Teen Family Support

We provide supports, resources, and doula services to pregnant teens and young parents.

Teen Family Support assists pregnant and parenting teenagers or young adults (ages 13-25) living in Winnebago County. We assist in developing and improving healthy parent-child relationships to foster successful child development.

All Teen Family Support services are free and voluntary.

Rockford Park District Provides $3,400 in Free Vouchers for Family Support Programs

Our Family Support Services and Teen Family Support programs received $3,400 in free vouchers to enable access to Rockford Park District activities that include Lockwood Park, Alpine and Sand Park Pools, the Nicholas Conservatory, and Atwood Birds of Prey Exhibit.

Teen Family Support Ensures Fathers are Fully Included

When Francisco (Franky) and his girlfriend, Brianna, learned that they were going to be parents, they were excited but also nervous. Teen Family Support was there to assuage the couple’s fears, support them with resources and education, and provide them with a dedicated doula. They also ensured that Franky, not just Brianna, felt fully involved in the process every step of the way.
